Cave City man in custody on sodomy charge

GLASGOW — Kentucky State Police arrested a Cave City man Monday on sex-related charges involving a victim 12-years-old or younger.

Gregory F. Lecroy, 25, who is charged with first-degree sodomy, was leaving the Barren County Courthouse after appearing on unrelated charges when troopers apprehended him, according to Kentucky State Police-Bowling Green Post Public Information Officer Charles Swiney.

“It was one of those in the right place at the right time things, we just happen to luck upon him,” Swiney said.

Lecroy was transported and is still being held at the Barren County Correction Center on $15,000 cash bond. An initial court date has not be set for Lecroy.
