GLASGOW —
Due to a primary component failure in the electrical service at the WKU-Glasgow facility, Glasgow Electric Plant Board technicians are going to shut down all power to the building in order to make repairs. This shutdown will occur at approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to a release from Bill Walter with WKU-Glasgow.
It is anticipated that electrical power will be restored in a matter of hours. Therefore, there should be no disruption of operations or classes in the morning. However, WKU Glasgow staff will be on hand and will be monitoring the situation closely. In the event the power is not restored as anticipated, and they have to delay opening the building in the morning as planned, students, faculty and staff will receive an email no later than 7 a.m. with further information, Walter said.
