EDMONTON — According to Commonwealth’s Attorney Karen M. Davis, a Metcalfe County Grand Jury recently ended their service. Following their meeting of August 18, 2009 the following actions were taken:
• Ruth A. Romines, 37, of Edmonton, was indicted for knowling exploit an adult over $300.
• William Arthur Shepperd, 39, of Cynthiana, first-degree sexual abuse child less than 12 years old.
• Olivia A. Stevens Wilbur III, 20, of Edmonton, first-degree wanton endangerment.
• Albert O. Bryant, Jr., 19, of Edmonton, five counts second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
• Billy Joe Stout, 30, of Summer Shade, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia second offense, possession of marijuana.
• T. J. Westmoreland, 21, of Summer Shade, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana.
An indictment represents a criminal charge and a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
