MUNFORDVILLE — A 22-year-old Hart County man died in a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday in Hart County that occurred around 8:51 a.m. in the 2900 block of Lonoke Road.
Justin Logsdon, of Munfordville, was pronounced dead at the scene, said Trooper Charles Swiney, public information officer for the Kentucky State Police’s Bowling Green Post.
Logsdon was traveling westbound on Lonoke Road in a 1992 Nissan when he failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the yellow line, striking a 2008 Chevrolet truck driven by Leigh Ann Workman, 33, also of Munfordville. Upon impact, Logsdon’s car entered a counter clockwise spin and exited the westbound shoulder of the road facing northeast. Workman’s truck exited the eastbound shoulder of the road and came to final rest facing westbound, Swiney said.
Workman, and a passenger in her truck, Marcus G. Workman, also of Munfordville, were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for non life-threatening injuries, he said.
An investigation into the cause of the wreck continues, Swiney said. Trooper Ronnie Reynolds investigated the wreck scene and was assisted by personnel with the Hart County EMS.
