8:36 MORNING UPDATE: Emergency personnel respond to two wrecks, three fires

GLASGOW —  

Barren County emergency personnel responded to one wreck with injuries and three fires on Tuesday.

The wreck occurred at 7:21 a.m. on Dripping Springs Road. The Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service, deputies with the Barren County Sheriff's Office and Cave City volunteer firefighters responded to the scene.

East Barren volunteer firefighters and deputy sheriffs were called to a vehicle fire at 3939 Burkesville Road at 3:14 p.m.

At 3:24 p.m., Austin Tracy and Haywood volunteer firefighters responded to a fire at the Louie B. Nunn Lodge at Barren River Lake State Resort Park.

South Barren and Park City volunteer firefighters were called to extinguish a field fire at 8:44 p.m. at 1931 Colesbend Road.

In Metcalfe County, at 9:40 p.m., the BMEMS was called to a wreck with injuries at the intersection of Tompkinsville and Cedar Flat roads.
