9:47 p.m. Evening Update: Tompkinsville Commission hires consultant

TOMPKINSVILLE —

Tompkinsville City Commissioners agreed Thursday night to hire Sean Martin with Martin Contracting of Richmond to work for the city as a consultant, depending on whether the city can afford his services.

If hired, Martin will be in charge of helping the city become compliant.
