The Barren-Edmonson County Drug Task Force served warrants on three individuals Monday in separate incidents. Police charged Steven Parker, 31, 7949 Old Munfordville Road, Cave City, with two counts of trafficking in controlled substance after Deputy J.D. Walden of the Barren County Sheriff’s Office stopped his vehicle along U.S. 31E northbound, according to a DTF report. Parker was lodged in the Barren County Correction Center on $8,500 bond.
The DTF also arrested two Smiths Grove residents Monday after an investigation that led to warrants being obtained. Each were lodged at the Barren County Correction Center on $19,000 bonds. Deputy Adam Minor of the Barren County Sheriff’s Office assisted the DTF in the arrest, according to the report.
