TOMPKINSVILLE — A Monroe County man who faces a charge of murder was back in Monroe Circuit Court on Thursday.
Gregory Kenneth Hodges, 52, of 199 Washington St., Gamaliel, was arrested in April 2008 in the stabbing death of Randall E. Page, 76, of Tompkinsville. Hodges was indicted in May 2008.
A motion to test certain evidence, even though it may be totally consumed or destroyed, was granted Thursday by Monroe Circuit Court Judge Eddie Lovelace without objection from Hodges’ attorney provided all notes made in conjunction with the testing are kept.
Hodges also faces a charge of being a second-degree persistent felony offender.
Page’s body was found in his home by officers with the Tompkinsville Police Department with a stab wound to the chest.
Hodges remained lodged in the Monroe County Correctional Center on a $1 million cash or secured property bond.
