GLASGOW — The following incidents were reported by the office of Karen Davis, commonwealth’s attorney for Barren and Metcalfe counties.

Metcalfe Circuit Court:

Stephen Dean Erwin, 52, of Edmonton, pleaded guilty on Oct. 16, to charges of first-degree fleeing/evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, reckless driving and failure to produce insurance card.

The Commonwealth recommended a one year sentence and standard DUI penalties. Formal sentencing by the court is set for Nov. 17.

Barren Circuit Court:

Guilty Pleas:

Angela Lynn Thompson, 41, of Cave City, pleaded guilty in Barren Circuit Court on Oct. 12, in two separate cases, to charges of trafficking in marijuana within 1,000 yards of a school, two counts possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Commonwealth recommended a three year sentence. Formal sentencing by the Court is set for Nov. 9.

Sentencings:

Laury Ann Gourley, 46, of Glasgow, was formally sentenced in Barren Circuit Court on Oct. 12, based on her earlier guilty plea to the charges of making false statement as to identity or financial condition and fraudulent use of a credit/debit card over $100.

The court, following the plea agreement, placed the defendant on a pre-trial diversion on the condition that she pay restitution in full.
