GLASGOW — The following have announced they will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving:
• Glasgow City Hall will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
• Glasgow Street, Sanitation and Transit departments will also be closed Nov. 26 and Nov. 27 for Thanksgiving. Thursday’s garbage and recycling will be collected on Monday, Nov. 30. Friday’s garbage and recycling will be collected on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Please have it out by 7 a.m.
There will be no bus service on Thursday, Nov. 26 or Friday, Nov. 27.
• Glasgow Landfill will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving. The landfill will open on regular hours (8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) on Friday, Nov. 27. The landfill will be closed Saturday, Nov. 28.
• Saturday drop-off recycling will be closed Saturday, Nov. 28.

• The office of Joanne London, Barren County Clerk, will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, through Saturday, Nov. 28, in observance of Thanksgiving holiday.
• The office of Krissie Coe Fields, Barren County Circuit Court Clerk, will be closed Thursday and Friday.
• The Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library will close at 4 p.m. on Nov. 25, will remain closed Thursday and Friday, and will reopen at regular time on Saturday. There will be no Tot Tot Time or Story Hours on Nov. 29 and 30.
• The Glasgow Daily Times will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26 for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no newspaper edition published on Thursday.
