8:32 a.m. MORNING UPDATE: Park City man arrested

CAVE CITY —

Cave City Officer Chris Edwards was dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle overturned, with possible injuries on Ford Street in Cave City on Thursday around 9:04 pm. Edwards arrived on the scene to find Marshall Davidson, 54, of Park City, sitting on the sidewalk. He appeared to be intoxicated, according to a Cave City Police Department report, and was suspected to be the driver of the overturned vehicle.

After a brief investigation, Davidson was arrested and charged with DUI (first offense with aggravated circumstances) and possession of marijuana. Davidson's blood alcohol was twice the legal limit, the police report stated. Davidson was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. He was treated at the scene by EMS.

Davidson was released from jail on Sunday, according to the jail's website.
