GLASGOW — Linda Hitchcock sorted books Wednesday afternoon at the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial library in preparation for the Friends of the Library Book Sale and Inaugural Silent Auction, which begins Friday and runs through Saturday. There will be a Friends of the Library members only preview sale Thursday afternoon from 5-7 p.m. Hours for the book sale on Friday and Saturday are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hitchcock is president of the Friends of the Library group.
