2:51 AFTERNOON UPDATE: One dies during work on Ky. 90

GLASGOW — One person died and one person was flown from construction work on Ky. 90 on Monday morning, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

No other details were available about what happened or the names of the individuals. The Kentucky State Police is serving in an "assisting capacity," said public information officer, Trooper Jonathan Biven, of Post 3 in Bowling Green.

Requests for comment from the Region 4 office of the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration, where Biven said requests for comment were being referred, were unanswered as of Monday afternoon.

As more information is made available, it will be reported.
