Bond error corrected in murder case

MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK — The family of Antwyan Nuckols stands with commonwealth’s attorney Karen Davis, third from left, during a hearing Monday that was postponed until Tuesday afternoon. The hearing was to set bond for Jeremy M. Viers, far right, standing with attorney Bobby Richardson, at $50,000 cash. Viers, 26, is charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and being a second-degree persistent felony offender after allegedly being involved in the June stabbing death of Nuckols on Mill Street in Glasgow. A clerical error set the bond as cash or approved surety, and Davis made a motion to reset the bond to just cash, as previously set in district court.
