GLASGOW —
Glasgow High School culinary students Jamarccus Mockabee and Denaeesha Faulkner were hard at work Thursday morning making sugar cookie batter and rolling the dough up in plastic wrap to freeze and bake later for the GHS open house Sunday.
Students in Laura Jessie’s Culinary 1 class made chocolate chip and sugar cookie batter for about 800 cookies for the open house. The wide variety of
classes offered to students is something both GHS and Barren County High School pride themselves on. The culinary classes offered at both schools give the students hands-on experience in the kitchen and practical life skills to use well beyond their high school years.
