T-ville road work begins

BOWLING GREEN — KYTC crews will begin reconstruction of signals and poles at the intersection of KY 163 and 4th Street in Tompkinsville on Monday. Crews will be on site between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The work is expected to take 10-14 days, weather permitting, and will require temporary stop signs to be installed at all four approaches at the intersection.

Crews will be replacing the current wood pole with one made of steel. The signal heads will be upgraded as well during this time.

Motorists are advised to pay attention to flaggers as they will be directing traffic while some of this work is performed.

Message boards will be installed for notification to motorists about the upcoming intersection work.
