GLASGOW — DATE: Monday, July 26, 2010

ACTIONS: City Council members approved the minutes of the July 12, 2010, meeting; tabled the first reading of an ordinance sponsored by council member Brad Groce to increase the amount of parking time around the city square; approved the first reading of an ordinance amending the city’s annual budget for fiscal year July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011, appropriating $286,132 from the unappropriated general fund to the Glasgow Fire Department for the purpose of purchasing a 2010 Pierce Custom Contender pumper apparatus fire truck; and approved a municipal order appointing Fred Miller to the airport board to fill the unexpired term of Samuel Chambers. This term will expire on April 1, 2013.
