ELIZABETHTOWN — On Monday at approximately 9:15 p.m. an eastbound commercial vehicle with an oversized load in tow struck the KY 1136 overpass at the 136 mile marker on the Western Kentucky Parkway in Hardin County.
As a result of the crash the eastbound lanes at the 136 mile marker have been reduced to one lane for an undetermined amount of time. KY 1136 at the Western Kentucky Parkway overpass has been closed to traffic until essential repairs can be made. The exact length of closure is not known at this time.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported as a result of this crash and no federal motor carrier violations were noted on the part of the commercial vehicle. Officer Josh Patrick of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement is investigating.
