8:45 EVENING UPDATE: Monroe County falls to Central, 18-13 (running update)

GLASGOW — 8:41 p.m. Central has run out the clock to win the Class 3A semi-state game in Louisville, 18-13. They were able to run out the clock and end Monroe County's outstanding season.

8:37  p.m. Monroe turns the ball over on downs with an incomplete pass.

8:35 p.m. The Falcons face fourth-and-8 with less that five minutes to play in the game. The game is in a time out. Central still leads 18-13. The ball is at the Central 37.

8:30 p.m. Central scores to go ahead 18-13. Monroe stopped two-point conversion attempt with more than 8 minutes to play in the game.

8:20 p.m. Turn about is fair play. Falcons end Central drive by intercepting pass as third quarter ends. Monroe still leads 13-12.

8:10 p.m. Central scores on its opening drive of second half, but misses on PAT. Monroe lead 13-12 in third quarter.

7:55p.m. Interception just before halftime ends Monroe County drive. Falcons take 13-6 lead into intermission.

7:45 p.m. Monroe County leads Central 13-6 with less than a minute to play in the first half.

7:30 p.m. Monroe County leads Central 7-6 at the end of the first quarter.
