BURKESVILLE — Jessie Branham, 62, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Richards Branham, of Pall Mall, Tenn.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, with burial in Dutch Creek Cemetery. Visitation is after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Irene Stinson Coulter
FOUNTAIN RUN — Irene Stinson Coulter, 86, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Monroe County Medical Center, in Tompkinsville.
She was the daughter of the late Harvey Stinson and Tishie Bohannon Stinson and wife of the late Ewin Coulter.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Strode Funeral Home Inc., Gamaliel Chapel, with burial in White Oak Ridge Cemetery in Monroe County.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the White Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Radford Garmon
EDMONTON — Radford Garmon, 77, of Edmonton, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Commonwealth Regional Speciality Hospital in Bowling Green.
He was the son of the late Herman and Irene Hendricks Garmon. He was a retired welder from Kentucky Manufacturing in Louisville.
Funeral services for Radford Garmon will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Butler Funeral Home, in Edmonton, with burial in Moore Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Burton Garmon of Edmonton; one son: Larry (Bonnie) Garmon of Brooks; one daughter: Pamela (Eddie) Shockley of Edmonton; two grandchildren: Heather and Dustin Jessie, both of Edmonton; two special children he helped raise: Laura Leach of Bowling Green and Sam Leach of Brooks; three brothers: Orville (Connie) Garmon, Bonnie Lewis and son, Gary Dean, all of Edmonton, Lonnie (Jane) Garmon of Mount Washington; and one sister: Marjorie Jean (Bobby) Shaw of Florida.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Erbana Kurtz.

Lula B. Guilfoil
FAYETTE COUNTY — Lula B. Guilfoil, 103 ½ , a lifelong resident of Fayette County, born Sept. 7, 1906, to the late Charles Martin and Nancy Tussey Short Baesler, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
She was a farmer and a homemaker. She was a graduate of Athens School where she served as PTA president, a member of Athens Christian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, and a 4-H Club leader. She was instrumental in the International Farm Youth Exchange, a charter member of the Statue of Liberty Restoration Club. During the war years, she cooked for the German prisoners who worked on the farm.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Guilfoil Sr., two sons, John A. Guilfoil Jr. and Charles E. Guilfoil; a daughter, Doris G. Phelps, and two infant grandchildren.
Survivors are daughters: Lois Burton (Harold), Cincinnati, Ohio, Nancy Graham (Don), Berea, Patricia Ellis (Oscar), Lexington, and Angela Tarter (James), Greensboro, N.C.; sons: Mike Guilfoil (Mary), Lexington, and Dr. Bobby Guilfoil (Dale), Glasgow; a daughter-in-law: Virginia “Sis” Guilfoil, Lexington; and one dog, Daisy. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; nine nephews and four nieces.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Athens Christian Church. Burial will be in Athens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home — Main Street, Lexington, is in charge of arrangements.

Ginger Marie Boston Jordon
GLASGOW — Ginger Marie Boston Jordon, 30, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at her residence.
She was born in Barren County on Oct. 5, 1979. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Michael (Mike) Boston; her paternal grandfathers, Lurn Boston and Bob Sanders; and her maternal grandparents, Carroll and Christene Ballard; paternal grandmother, Becky Boston.
Survivors include one daughter: Destinee Boston of Glasgow; one son: Anthony Boston of Glasgow; her mother: Mary Boston of Glasgow; two sisters: Jennifer Renfroe and her husband Raymond of Phenix City, Ala., and Elizabeth Aguero and her husband Jonathan of Stephenville, Texas; her paternal grandmother: Esther Sanders of Cave City. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home is from 2 until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday until funeral home.

Velma Staples Patterson
EDMONTON — Velma Staples Patterson, 86, of Edmonton, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Hopkins Care and Rehabilitation Center in Woodburn, where she had resided for the past year.
She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Fred and Julia Rich Spann. In her early life, Mrs. Patterson had been a telephone operator for the General Telephone Co. until 1958 when she became an employee of Howard Clinic in Glasgow where she retired after 38 years. She was a former member of the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeri Staples Marsh and husband Tom of Alvaton; four sons: Douglas Jewell Williams and Robert Stephen Williams, both of San Antonio, Texas, Philip Gerald Williams and wife Freida of Goodyear, Ariz., and James Daryl Williams and wife Mary Lynn of Jackson, Tenn.; two step-sons: Michael Patterson and wife Becky of Cookeville, Tenn., and Steve Patterson of Edmonton. Twelve grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, J.D. Williams, Ewell Staples and M.W. Patterson; and her brother, Albert Jewell Spann and sister-in-law, Eunice.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
