Clara Lee Cox
MUNFORDVILLE – Clara Lee Cox, 83, of Munfordville, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave.
She was a child caregiver and a member of Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Jepp Bridgeman and the late Lizzie Bridgeman, and wife of the late John H. Cox Jr.
She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Benningfield, of Horse Cave, Quint Butler (Raybon), of Munfordville, Sue Coe (Terry), of Glasgow, and Nancy Firkins (Jim), of Cave City; one sister, Pauline Thompson, of Munfordville; two brothers, Jepp Bridgeman Jr., of Glasgow, and Clayton Bridgeman, of Flatwoods; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Amy Butler.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Brooks Funeral Home, with Brother Robbie Ward officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville.
Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
Illa Maedell (Perkins) King
EATON, Ohio – Illa Maedell (Perkins) King, 91, of Eaton, Ohio, formerly of Glasgow, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at her residence.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry C. King; one son, Harry (Tracy) King; three daughters, Glenda Sue (Gordon) Habel, Patricia Lynn (Gene) Bippus and Mona Leah King; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Vernon, Ewell, Otis and Leroy Perkins; and one sister, the late Jewell Perkins McCoy.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mount Healthy, Ohio.
Remembrances may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, Ohio.
Judy Trowbridge Robertson
SEYMOUR – Judy Trowbridge Robertson, 58, of Seymour, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Hart County native was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Weldon Trowbridge and Hazel Bain Trowbridge.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Robertson, of Seymour.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Ministry, under direction of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial to follow in Whickerville Cemetery.
Visitation at Immanuel Ministry Church will be from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday.
