Betty Marie Bailey

GLASGOW — Betty Marie Bailey, 70, died Friday Sept. 11, 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.



Raymond Albert Fonner

GLASGOW — Raymond Albert Fonner, 72, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

He was born in Wheeling, W.V., on July 27, 1937. He was the son of the late Roy and Dorothy Trouten Fonner. Mr. Fonner was a retired Sergeant First Class from the United States Army. He proudly served his country in Germany, France and Vietnam. He was a member of the Samson Street Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Willowdean Hogue Evans Fonner; daughter, JoAnn Fonner; sons, Ricky Smith (Stacy), William Smith, Tim Evans (Laura), David Evans and John Evans; grandchildren, Ashley, Katie, Leslie and Angel Smith, Christina Fonner, Lorelie Fonner and Chauncey Fonner; great-grandchildren, Wayne; brother, Roy Fonner (Mary); sister, Judy Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Peggy Hogue Fuller (Jim), Betty (Jim) Buss Ann (Hauns) Raj, Wanda Peavley and Josephine Poynter; great-aunt, Leah Wilson; several nieces and nephews; and three special pets Sparky, Indie and Josie (the cat).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Wanda Smith Fonner; a son, Joseph Fonner; a brother, Bob Fonner; a sister, Betty Yancey; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Faye Kingery.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Munfordville Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV.

Brenda Joyce Nunn

GLASGOW — Brenda Joyce Nunn, 66, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at the Metcalfe County Nursing Home in Edmonton.

She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late William Basil Clark and Mary Edna Turner Clark.

She is survived by

her husband, Kenneth; two daughters: Linda Crenshaw (Ray) and Sandra Payne (Kevin), both of Smiths Grove; two sons: Carl Kerney Jr. of Smiths Grove and Douglas Kerney (Tonya) of Glasgow; two sisters: Mary Reece of Glasgow and Wanda Wooten of Horse Cave; one brother: Billy Clark of Glasgow; eight grandchildren: Jeremy Smith, William Kerney, Adam Abner, Amber Jones, Kayla Kerney, Gracie Kerney, Chelsea Kerney and Aaron Kerney; four great-grandchildren: Payton Smith, Alexis Abner, Maddison Kerney and Sierenity Page Jones; and a special friend, Doris Wix.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Saturday.

Rondal Lee Powell

GLASGOW — Rondal Lee Powell, 70, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 at his home.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.



Walter B. Wilson Sr.

BOWLING GREEN — Walter B. Wilson Sr., 80, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Charlie Edward Wilson and Velma Moore. Survivors include his wife of nearly 64 years, Katherin Wilson of Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Chapels, Inc., Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) and from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

GLASGOW — Mary Gladys Cornelius, 89, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Friday) from 3 until 8 p.m. and Saturday morning until time for services.



CAVE CITY — Kathleen Gregory, 60, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at her residence as a result of a house fire. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 10 a.m. Saturday.



EDMONTON — James Clyde Page, 62, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Friday) at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Edmonton Cemetery.



HISEVILLE — Harold Pritchard, 88, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV, will be in Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today (Friday) at the funeral home.
