EDMONTON — Mac Douglas Amburgey, 41, of Edmonton, died Sunday, March 14, 2010, of an auto accident.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Stephens Amburgey of Edmonton; and parents, Doug and Betty Amburgey.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, with burial in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

MAGNOLIA — Louise A. Close, 75, of Magnolia, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Floyd Avery and the late Vera Crenshaw Avery and wife of the late John Clyde Close.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 19, at Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, with burial in Knoxes Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Stella Octavia Gillenwater
BOWLING GREEN — Stella Octavia Gillenwater, 85, of Bowling Green, a native of Barren County, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Britthaven of Bowling Green.
She was the daughter of the late Russ Shipley and the late Louella Carpenter Shipley and wife of the late Edward L. Gillenwater.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 19, at Burnam & Son Mortuary, Bowling Green, with inurnment at a later date.
Robert L. ‘Bobby’ Rogers
GLASGOW — Robert L. “Bobby” Rogers, 80, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow.
He was born in Barren County, the son of the late Bert and Willie Edna Reeves Rogers. Bobby was retired from SKF and was a member of the South Fork Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Katherine Carter Rogers; a daughter: Brenda K. Reece of Glasgow; a grandson: Stacey Reece and wife Aimee of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother: Billy Joe Rogers of Glasgow; and seven nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifton and J.T. Rogers.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Ruby Mae Harlan
SUMMER SHADE — Ruby Mae Harlan, 89, of Summer Shade, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
She was a daughter of the late Jake and Susan Strode Harlan and a member of Skaggs Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by one brother, Shelby Harlan and his wife, Bessie, of Royal Oak, Mich.; two nieces: Betty Dyer and husband, Gary, of Summer Shade, and Janet Giannuzzi and husband, Leonard, of Royal Oak, Mich.; and one sister-in-law: Cenda Harlan of Michigan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Carl, Mitchell and Raymond Harlan.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 20, at 1 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, Summer Shade, with Brother Taylor Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home.
