GLASGOW — Trandall L. Borders, 48, of Glasgow, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Maymie Copas Casteel
TOMPKINSVILLE — Maymie Copas Casteel, 78, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at University of Louisville Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Everett Lee Copas and Dona Ellen Vibbert Copas and wife of the late Arvin Glenn Casteel.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, July 26, at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with burial in Old Mount Herman Cemetery.
William Scott ‘Bill’ Essler
BOWLING GREEN — William Scott “Bill” Essler, 27, of Bowling Green, died Friday, July 23, 2010, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.
He was the son of Scott Essler and his wife Tammi, and mother, Rebecca Pearson, all of Bowling Green.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Cremation was chosen.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Dorothy Graham
COLUMBIA — Dorothy Graham, 89, of Columbia, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Summit Manor Health & Rehab.
Dorothy was born in Burkesville on March 1, 1921, a daughter of the late Sallie Lena (Smith) and James L. Graham. She worked as a telephone operator at Bell Telephone in Louisville, for 30 years, served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a member of Queen Esther Chapter 10 Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Elizabeth Sparks; brothers, Rommie L. Graham, James Smith Graham, Carl L. Graham, Robert R. Graham; and two infant brothers.
Survivors include a brother, Donald (Donnie) Graham of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 26, with interment at Bow Schoolhouse Cemetery with military honors.
Robert E. Stevens Sr.
OWENSBORO — Robert E. Stevens Sr., 86, of Owensboro, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1923, in Ohio County to the late Estill and Vina Mae Stevens. He was a truck driver for Transit Mix Concrete Company and a member of Garden Green Baptist Church. He was a United States Navy veteran serving in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Idea Belle Stevens, in February 2006, and a daughter, Brenda Bullington, in 1984.
He is survived by three sons: Robert (Patty) Stevens Jr. of Falls of Rough, James W. Stevens of Calhoun, and Dennis L.Stevens of Owensboro; 10 grandchildren: April Harris, Amy Spencer, James Stevens Jr., Jeremy Stevens, Tammy Hampton, Kim Bullington, Dale Stevens, Samantha Stevens, Mark Stevens and Bobby Gene Stevens; a brother: Wayne Stevens of Philpot; and three sisters: Mildred Abrams of Morgantown, Shirley Driskell of Reed, and Helen Underhill of Owensboro.
Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at the chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 696. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ronnie Richard Taylor
GLASGOW – Ronnie Richard Taylor, 66, of Glasgow, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Born in Barren County, the son of Eldon and Marie Mathews Taylor. He was a retired truck driver and served in the U.S. Airforce from 1962-65 and was a member of Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Eighty-Eight. Ronnie had a passion for really nice pickup trucks and loved horses.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Glenna (Wright) Webb Taylor of Glasgow; three sons: Steven Richard Taylor and wife Diana, Brian Scott Taylor and wife Melissa, Kelly Shawn Taylor and wife Shalon, all of Glasgow; one daughter: Stephanie Michelle Hamilton and husband Stephen of London; one stepson: Kevin Blain Webb of Glasgow; two brothers: Ralph Taylor of Eighty-Eight, and Danny Taylor of Glasgow; one sister: Dana Lee Taylor of Knoxville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren: Blake, Beau, Seth, Chase and Conner Taylor, all of Glasgow, Jake Hamilton, Taylor Hamilton and Autumn Cannon, of London; three great-grandchildren and several aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Spillman; and his grandparents, Roscoe and Vera Taylor and Euna and Roy Mathews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
