GLASGOW —
UPTON – Ernest Lee Riggs, 62, of Upton, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at his home.
He was a Hart County native and son of the late Dora Riggs and Dessie Carvy Riggs.
Funeral services for Ernest Lee Riggs will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home, Munfordville, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
GLASGOW – Christine Livesay Ross, 87, of Glasgow, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow.
She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Tompie and Polly Huddleston Livesay. She was married on July 22, 1954, to the late Reverend James William Ross who died on April 15, 1975.
Christine was a graduate of Glasgow High School in 1943 and received her diploma from the college secretarial department at Bowling Green Business University in 1944. She attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas and received a degree in Christian Education.
She was very active with T.J. Samson Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary having joined in 1979 and completing her service in 2010. Her service with the auxiliary included record keeping, American Red Cross blood drives, and working in the gift shop every Saturday and one evening each week. She was dearly beloved by the auxiliary and the American Red Cross. She was also a lifelong member of Glasgow Baptist Church, active in Sunday School and all church activities.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time for the service. Burial will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.

GLASGOW – Fred D. Bussell, 88, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his home. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cookeville City Cemetery in Cookeville, Tenn. Visitation will be at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to BRAWA or one’s favorite charity or organization.
GLASGOW – Christopher Mark Ferguson, 39, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday.
GLASGOW – Veachel Reid Lowe, 83, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday. Masonic and Order of Eastern Star rites will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and the public is welcome to attend.
WESTLAND, Mich. – Martha Christine Bowman Oliver, 81, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at her home in Westland, Michigan. Visitation is at R.G. and G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, Mich., Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
