LEITCHFIELD — Nettie Arnold, 96, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Spring View Health & Rehab Center in Leitchfield.
She was the widow of the late Rev. Paul Arnold.

Levy Belcher
GLASGOW — Levy Belcher, 87, of Glasgow, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital after a brief illness.
Belcher was a retired captain of Kentucky State Police. He served as post commander at the Frankfort, Bowling Green and Hazard posts. He served in the Second Army Division in World War II, and received a Purple Heart medal after serving in the Normandy Invasion.
He was a founding member of the Barren County Civil Defense and Mammoth Cave area amateur radio club. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, DAV and South Green Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Bonnie Clodean Belcher; three sons: Larry Belcher of Tompkinsville, Johnny and Todd Belcher, of Glasgow; six grandchildren: Laura Jon Belcher of Bowling Green, Brian Belcher of Thompson Station, Tenn., Jonathan Belcher of Glasgow, Lezlie Belcher of Bowling Green, Scott Belcher of Atlanta, Ga., and Alex Nelson Belcher of Nashville, Tenn. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Nelson and Sally Lou (Kingrey) Belcher.
Celebration of Life will be Monday, March 22, at 1 p.m. at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 21, from 2 until 8 p.m. and Monday until the funeral.
Alternate expressions of sympathy can be made to the newly founded Belcher-Underwood State Trooper Scholarship Fund in care of South Central Bank.

Ricky Dale Ervin
SUMMER SHADE — Ricky Dale Ervin, 54, of Summer Shade, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow from injuries sustained in a motorcyle accident.
He was a carpenter and son of Carlos Ervin of Greensburg and Jo Ann Lile Ervin of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Houk Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 until 8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Angela Thurman Ervin; two daughters: Amber Ervin of Edmonton and Brandy (Jason) Wood of Glasgow; two stepchildren: Tyler and Jacob Ford of Edmonton; three grandchildren: Brianna, Lexis and Jayden Wood; one brother: Danny Ervin of Glasgow; three sisters: Cathy Coffey and Freda Green, both of Smiths Grove, Judy Ervin of Glasgow. Ricky is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

GLASGOW — Doris L. Ledendecker, 79, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1100 N. Race St., Glasgow. Visitation will be Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until time for the service. Burial will be in the Maysville-Mason County Cemetery on Monday.

Donald Edward Perkins
HARPERS FERRY, W.V. — Donald Edward Perkins, 49, of Harpers Ferry, W.V., died Monday, March 15, 2010, at his home.
He was retired from the United States Air Force and was the son of Mack Perkins of Edmonton and the late Carol Glynn Edwards Perkins.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ at Randolph with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton and after 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Besides his father, he is survived by four brothers: Michael of South Carolina, Byron of North Carolina, Randy of Tennessee and Chris of Arkansas.

J.L. Swindle
FRANKLIN — J.L. Swindle, 69, of Franklin, formerly of Scottsville, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his residence.
The Scottsville native was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired employee of Lyons Company, Inc. and a member of New Roe Masonic Lodge 592 F&AM. He was a son of the late Leo Swindle and Jocie Mae Combs Swindle.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley Taylor Swindle, Franklin; one son: Randy Swindle and wife, Melissa, Franklin; one daughter: Jennifer Dawn Swindle and friend, Mike Sullivan, Scottsville; one sister: Peggy Bray and husband, Wayne, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.; four grandchildren: Justin Swindle, Whitney Moore, Jessica Holmin and husband, Landon and Beth Swindle.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Junior Swindle; and one sister: Marjorie Swindle.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at Goad Funeral Home with Brother Curtis Davis officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home, Scottsville. Masonic services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home.
