BOWLING GREEN — Helen Jenett Hardcastle, 68, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Berthel Bullock and Mary Katherine Hutchens Bullock and the wife of Everett Hardcastle, who survives.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Charles T. Martin
PARK CITY — Charles T. Martin, 85, of Park City, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, in Glasgow.
The Barren County native was the son of the late W. L . Martin Sr. and the late Ora Berry Martin. He was a farmer, a member and past secretary and president of Park City Lions Club, World War II Army veteran and a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church
He is survived by one sister, Evelyn Martin, and one brother, Roger Martin, both of Park City; several cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lucy M. Richardson, and one brother, William L. “Bill” Martin Jr.
Visitation is 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 18, at Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel and 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, with funeral service at 2 p.m.,Tuesday, June 19, at Walnut Hill Baptist Church. Military rites will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Nancy Colvin Monroe
CAVE CITY – Nancy Colvin Monroe, 75, Cave City, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.
She was the daughter of the late Curtis and Icy Colvin. On March 1, 1959, she married Bobby Monroe, who preceded her in death in 2009.
Survivors include a nephew, Sammy (Vickie) Monroe, Cave City; two great-nieces, Dana Monroe and Sammye Jo (Dustin) Singer, one great-great-nephew, Matthew Steven Singer, all of Cave City; a brother, Larry (Janelle) Colvin, Bunker Hill, Ind.; two brothers-in-law, Larry (Patricia) Monroe, William (Joann) Monroe; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Monroe and Joyce Monroe. Other survivors include nieces, Sandy (John) Brown, Sandy (Mark) Rogers, Alicia Bloom, Marylinda (Ronnie) Thomison, Christine Wilkins, Jennifer (Dan) Kinsner, Vinetta (Stu) Daniell; nephews, Fred (Cindy) McGuire, Mike (Nancy) McGuire, Lee (Amanda) Monroe, Scott Monroe, William Wilkins, Steve (Betsy) Monroe, Jimmy (Tina) Monroe and Coy Monroe, along with several other great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence McGuire and Ida Bell Cook; four brothers, Kenny, Beanie, Chester and Jim McGuire and one great-nephew, Matt Monroe.
Graveside services were Sunday, June 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, was from 1 until 8 p.m. Saturday, June 16, and 9 a.m. until time of services on Sunday.

Delma Dee Schaeffer
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Delma Dee Pruitt Schaeffer, 80, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Monday, June 11, 2012, at The Stratford, in Phoenix.
Delma was born in Tompkinsville on July 3, 1931, a daughter of the late Cora (Murley) and Basil Pruitt.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday, June 19, at Monroe Baptist Church in Tompkinsville. Burial will follow in Old Mount Hermon Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
