GLASGOW — Gene Bow

HERMITAGE SPRINGS, Tenn. – Gene Bow, 82, of Hermitage Springs, Tenn., a native of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, in Cookeville, Tenn.

He was the son of the late Richard Stanley and Della Pearl (Copas) Bow.

He is survived by his spouse, Wanda Bow, of Hermitage Springs, Tenn.

Graveside service and interment will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Yokley Cemetery in Tompkinsville, Fountain Run Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.



Irene Jones

GLASGOW – Irene Jones, 68, of Glasgow, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Glasgow Health and Rehab Center.

She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of the late Wilburn and Leona Richey Haynes. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, William Green and Boone Jones; a daughter, Teresa Graham; a son, Boone Jones Jr., and her brothers and sisters, Romie Haynes, Benton Haynes, Marie Wilborn, Dorothy Green, Clarine Hines, Norma Jean Liles and Aline Davis.

Survivors include a son, Harold “Bill” Green, of Oklahoma; two daughters, Kimberly Stinson and Christina Jones, both of Glasgow; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 10 a.m. until time for the service.

 

Jonathan D. Martin

MUNFORDVILLE – Jonathan D. Martin, 18, of Munfordville, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Caverna Memorial Hospital emergency room.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, MaeDonna Riggs Kersey and Randall Kersey, of Magnolia; and his father, Leonard Martin, of Munfordville.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Brother Terry Priddy, Brother Terry Day and Brother Nikki Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Memorial Gardens at Magnolia. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m., Sunday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday after 8 a.m. at the funeral home.

MUNFORDVILLE – Teresa Middleton, 65, of Munfordville, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in Old Mount Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Teresa’s favorite charities, the Paralyzed Veterans or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
