GLASGOW — Wilma F. Allen

PARK CITY — Wilma F. Allen, 90, of Park City, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Barren County Health Care in Glasgow.

Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Holland Waller James. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of Merry Oaks Methodist Church, where she had taught Sunday school most of her adult life.

She is survived by her husband, William A. “Bill” Allen; one son, Neil Allen and wife Diane, of Park City; and two grandchildren, Karen Wray and husband Troy, of Chicago, and Jimmy Allen and wife Kylee, of Smiths Grove.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Rondall Barrett

OAKLAND — Rondall Terry Barrett, 66, of Oakland, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his residence.

He was born in Barren County to the late Elgin and Nettie Steenbergen Barrett and was the husband of Bonnie Carroll Barrett. He was a 1964 graduate of Park City High School and a retired truck driver and mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Barrett, of Oakland; one son, Terry Barrett (Brittany), of Cave City; one daughter, Pam Waters (Tony), of Cave City; one stepdaughter, Jessica Wallace, of Bowling Green; two brothers, Robert P. Barrett (Dee) and Rommie Barrett (Suzette), both of Cave City; two sisters, Watha Wood (Gale) and Peggy Barrett, of Cave City; and two grandchildren, Spencer Waters and Lauren Barrett.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 19, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, March 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

TOMPKINSVILLE — Steve Brady, 52, of Tompkinsville, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Poland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the family for funeral expenses.



BOWLING GREEN — Maxine Sparks Cole, 95, of Bowling Green, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Old Union Cemetery.



SCOTTSVILLE — J.T. Davis, 85, of Scottsville, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home and burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.



BOWLING GREEN — Fred E. Denton, 70, of Bowling Green, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.



GLASGOW — William “Punkin” Houchens Jr., 39, of Glasgow, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
