Dennis Ray Adkins
GLASGOW — Dennis Ray Adkins, 58, of Glasgow, passed away July 7, 2012.
He was the son of the late Weldon Adkins and Amsel Prosser. Dennis was a talented singer, songwriter and musician of country music. He was also an avid outdoorsman and family man.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Adkins, of Glasgow; son, Eric Roy Adkins, of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Amy Lynn Adkins and Jamie Elizabeth Adkins, both of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Dora Cox, Skylar Cullom, Amellia Adkins and Stone Adkins; brother, Bob Adkins, of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Teresa Wilkerson, of Bloomfield, Ind.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a very special dog, Snow.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
Hascal ‘Junior’ Coulter
GLASGOW — Hascal “Junior” Coulter, 75, of Glasgow, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow.
He was born in Barren County the son of the late Hascal and Ethel Groce Coulter. Junior was a crane operator and an employee of Ernest Simpson Construction Co. for 30 years. He attended Greater Vision Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; one daughter, Donna Williams (Larry), of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Brandon Groce (Brandie), of Smiths Grove, Bradley Williams (fiancée Nikki Webb), Glasgow, and Lindsey Lloyd (Justin), of Glasgow; five great-grandchildren, Braydon, Brylee and Bryn Groce, Brady Williams and Gracelyn Lloyd; two sisters, Louise Botts, of Glasgow and his twin sister, Jean McCombs, of Louisville; a brother, Reed Coulter, of Louisville, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Coulter, and a sister, Margaret Botts.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Rossie Gramlin
GLASGOW — Rossie Gramlin, 96, of Glasgow, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Glasgow Health & Rehab Center.
She was the daughter of the late Lessie and Ellen Tinsley Russell and the wife of the late William Gramlin. Mrs. Gramlin was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Monroe County but attended Dover Baptist Church at Etoile.
Survivors include one son, Larry Gramlin and wife Linda, of Glasgow; one daughter, Wandalene Birge and husband Rondal, of Glasgow; four grandchildren Michelle Harper, Donna Faller, Kelli Cherry and Jackie Devore; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mae Reneau, of Glasgow. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, Willie Russell, Alloyd Russell, Rodney Russell, Ronnie Russell and Evelyn Fish.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in White Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the funeral home.

Eva Katherine Hall
GLASGOW — Eva Katherine Hall, 92, of Glasgow, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.
Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Guy Peden and Maudie Hoover Peden. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Hall, and a son, Guy Joe Hall.
She was employed by Drs. Follis and Marion for 36 years. She was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church since 1949 and was a member of the Glasgow B&PW Club until her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Garmon and husband Roy; five grandchildren Gary Hall, Leigh Ann Strode, Jeff Garmon, Eric Garmon and wife Mindy, Andrea Gentry and husband John; and seven great-grandchildren, Garrett Hall, B.J. Hall, Camerin Garmon, Haley Garmon, Lindsey Strode, Makayla Gentry and Makenzie Gentry, and a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Hall, all of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until time for the service.

TOMPKINSVILLE — Jeanie Marie Hollis, 68, of Tompkinsville, a native of Louisiana, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, in Celina, Tenn.
She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Gail Marie (Gunn) Sirman.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Hollis, of Tompkinsville.
There will be no local services.

Cloteel Lyons
LOUISVILLE – Cloteel Lyons, 81, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Summerfield Nursing Home.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and retired from Brown & Williamson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry D, Lyons.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Williams, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Cloteel’s life will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home, with interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Tuesday 3 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial Donations may be made to Kosair Children’s Hospital or Grace Memorial United Methodist Church.

BOWLING GREEN –Patricia C. Peters, 81, of Bowling Green, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
She was the daughter of the late Russell F. and Ruth Isabelle Hemminger Hupp, and the wife of the late Peter P. Humlicek Jr. and John W. Peters.
A memorial service will be at a later date in Iowa.

HARDYVILLE — Wanda June Richardson, 80, of Hardyville, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012, at University of Louisville Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Annie Elizabeth Geralds Martin, and her husband, Charles (Skeeter) Richardson,

Mary Gladys Vincent
SWEEDEN — Mary Gladys Vincent, 86, of Sweeden, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, in Bowling Green. She was born in Edmonson County to the late Lee and Dora Vincent Kinser. She was the wife of the late Clintie Vincent.
She was a housewife, a member of the order of the Eastern Star and a lifetime member of the Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Vincent (Arlene), of Sweeden, and Darrell Vincent (Tressa), of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Bruce Vincent (Anne), Missy Truitt, Brad Vincent (Tabatha), Julie Vincent and Bridget Wheeler (Ryan); two step-grandchildren, Brian Bass (Angela) and April Johnson (Jason); nine great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel, with burial in the Sweeden Church Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home, and will continue from 9 a.m. until funeral service time on Tuesday.
