Joe Y. Lones Jr.
SCOTTSVILLE – Joe Y. Lones Jr. 78, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at his home in Scottsville.
The Allen County native was the son of the late Joe Y. Lones Sr. and Ida Shockley Lones and was preceded in death by his sister, Verna Keen, and brother, James Lones. He was a member of Scottsville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Settle Lones, of Scottsville; his daughter, Laura Lones, of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at T.W. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at T.W. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
Pansy Adell McIntyre
GLASGOW – Pansy Adell McIntyre, 88, of Glasgow, formerly of Summer Shade, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at University Hospital in Louisville.
She was a housewife and a daughter of the late Charlie and Jennie Capps Humphrey. She was a member of Hickory College Church of Christ.
She is survived by one sister, Wilma Coffey, and one brother, Dwight Humphrey, both of Shepherdsville; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McIntyre; sisters, Minnie and Vocal; and brothers, Willie, Eugene, Jimmie and Charles; and a very special nephew, Ronnie McIntyre.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with Brother Robert Priest officiating. Burial will follow in Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Katherine Louise Zielke
CAVE CITY – Katherine Louise Zielke received the fulfilled promise of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012. Kathy was 79 years old and lived in Cave City with her devoted husband of 55 years, Ron Zielke. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband Ron Zielke; son, Steve Zielke; daughter, Sheryl Morris (husband, Jim Morris); granddaughter, Jill Goodwin (husband, Aaron Goodwin); sisters, Betty Wendling and Greta Huffer; nieces, nephews and many life-long friends.
She joined her siblings Ruth, Ray, Charles, Carol, and Polly in their eternal home.
Kathy was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bowling Green, where she served as board secretary and was a member of the choir for many years. She was a member of the Cave City Business and Professional Woman’s organization. She served as administrative assistant to county attorneys in both Barren and Edmonson counties and also assisted Circuit Judge Shelly Riherd during her career.
Visitation will be at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Fairview Avenue in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 553 Ashmore Drive, in Bowling Green. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
