GLASGOW — Lisa Mucci

GLASGOW – Lisa Mucci, 64, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Glasgow State ICF.

She is survived by her friends and caregivers at Glasgow State ICF.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.



William Harvey Netherton

TOMPKINSVILLE – William Harvey Netherton, 60, of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Monroe County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tompkinsville.

William was born in Tompkinsville on June 3, 1952, a son of the late Joyce (Ford) Netherton Harlan and Villie Malbert Netherton. He worked as a demolitionist at the Hartsville Nuclear Plant. He also served in the U.S. Army.

William is survived by a sister, Ruenell Brady, of Tompkinsville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Villie Netherton and Joyce Harlan, and his sister, Darlene Kennedy.

Funeral services will be at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Visitation begins after 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery.

 

Stanley (Pud) W. Riordan

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – Stanley (Pud) W. Riordan, 92, of West Columbia, S.C., and formerly of Whickerville, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013.

He was the son of the late Jennings Goebel Riordan and Mary Ruth Fancher.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Downs Riordan.

Graveside services will be officiated by Brother Ronald Riordan at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Riordan Family Cemetery under the direction of Winn Funeral Home, with burial to follow. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.



Neva Hestand Walden

TOMPKINSVILLE – Neva Hestand Walden, 90, of Tompkinsville, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Monroe County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tompkinsville.

Neva was born in Tompkinsville on May 12, 1922, a daughter of the late Delma (Slaughter) and Dumas Hestand. On Dec. 24, 1946, she married Boyd Walden, who precedes her in death. They were both faithful members of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church.

Neva graduated from Tompkinsville High School in 1940. She then worked as a nurse for Dr. Bushong. After retiring from nursing, she then worked as a extension agent assistant for the Monroe County Extension Office, and also retired from there.

Neva is survived by two brothers, Rayburn Hestand, of Tompkinsville, and Cleburn Hestand, of Tompkinsville; two sisters, Imelda Wood, of South Carolina, and Francis Butler, of Joelton, Tenn.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Walden; her parents, Dumas and Delma Hestand; a brother, Bobby Hestand and a sister, Bonnie Mitchell.

Funeral services will be conducted at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, with Brother Tom Stokes and Lewis Hestand officiating.

Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 13, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Mount Hermon Cemetery.

Raymond Arthur Youngster

TERRELL, Texas – Raymond Arthur Youngster, 74, of Terrell, Texas, and formerly of Etoile, passed away Jan. 10, 2013.

He was born Sept.13, 1938, in West Palm Beach, Fla., to Arthur and Roberta (Fulmer) Youngster. Raymond was a rancher.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Youngster, of Terrell, Texas; children, Keith Youngster, of Tennessee, Todd Youngster, and wife Darlene, of Pennsylvania, Jolene Weaver, and husband Jesse, of Texas; granddaughters,  Ashley Youngster, of Pennsylvania and Savannah Ray Weaver, of Texas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

PARK CITY – Lottie Coates, 89, of Park City, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, in Glasgow. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church with burial in South Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, in care of Ronnie Lindsey, 27000 Louisville Road, Smiths Grove, Ky. 42171.



HORSE CAVE – Ellis Elmer Hogan, 90, of Horse Cave, died in Cave City on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home is in progress. Expressions of sympathy may be donations to a favorite charity or to the church of one’s choice.



HARDYVILLE – Reverend Claud M. McCubbin, 90, of Hardyville, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial in Houk Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.  



TOMPKINSVILLE – Betty Lou Murphy, 78, of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the Monroe County Medical Center. Funeral services will be at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawn. Donations are suggested to the Alzheimers Association.



CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Beverly A. Smith, 57, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at her residence in Clarksville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia.
