GLASGOW — Stephen Cole

SMITHS GROVE — Stephen Dale Cole, 58, of Smiths Grove, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012.

He was the son of Bennie Johnson Cole and Willard Cole (Mary Ann) and the husband of Debi Cole, who survives.

Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Monday at    Smiths Grove Baptist Church. No burial information was provided. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m. at the church. Hardy & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.



Naomi Mathews

GLASGOW — Naomi Ruth Mathews, 85, of Glasgow, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  

Born in Beattyville, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Eva Whisman Horton. She was a member of the Coral Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include three, daughters, Donita Carter Wimpee, of Bowling Green, Becky Carter Pickett, of White House, TN, and Lisa Mathews Votaw (Mike), of Glasgow; a son, Jackie Lee Carter (Sara), of Glasgow; three sisters, Janice Smith (Scott), of Beaver Creek, OH, Valera Baker of Greenwood, IN, and Terrie Poore, of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, including a special sister-in-law, Mabel Pedigo, of Hiseville, also survives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Mathews Shaw; two sons, Billy Jewell Carter and Stevie Mathews; two sisters, Gertrude Houchens and Bea Shaw; and a brother, Coleman Horton.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Deborah McIntyre

BOWLING GREEN — Deborah Denise McIntyre, 53, of Bowling Green, died  Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Tom Kesseloff and Carolyn Castillo Kesseloff and the wife of Mark McIntyre, who survives.

No services, cremation was chosen. Hardy & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.



Ochell Ray Tuck

CAVE CITY — Ochell Ray Tuck, 60, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at his residence in Cave City.

A native of Glasgow, he was a son of Ochell Lillard Tuck and Margie Ray Martin Tuck.  He was a former employee of the city of Glasgow Recreation Department, a truck driver, and a member of the Coral Hill Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Emily Tuck, of Glasgow; one brother, Dennis Tuck and his wife, Patsy, of Cave City; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
