GLASGOW — William Glenn Creek, 83, of Glasgow, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

Edward Jewell Gass Sr.
GLASGOW — Edward Jewell Gass Sr., 74, Glasgow, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Frank and Lissia Dugard Gass. He was the owner and operator of Glasgow Trim and Upholstery for 50 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of VFW Post 5906 in Glasgow, a charter member of Barren River Rod and Gun Club and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Gass; three children: Edward J. “Pete” Gass Jr., Jacqueline Sue Jones and John Miller Gass; three grandchildren: Michael Nichols, Brandon Williams and Derek Wayne Jones; one great-grandchild: Somara Jones, all of Glasgow; five sisters: Edna Breitenfeld and husband, Duane, Lee Ann Kirn and husband, Joe, Barbara Dugard and Carolyn Anderson and husband, Talbert, all of Glasgow, and Brenda Judd of Louisville; two brothers-in-law: Haskal Ray Stephens of Bowling Green, and Mitchell (Billie) Stephens of Alvaton; one sister-in-law: Aline (Jack) Mattingly of Cave City; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: William Gass, Paul “P.G.” Gass Sr. and Jerry Wayne Gass.
Mr. Gass chose cremation. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at VFW Post 5906. Military honors will be provided by DAV Chapter 20.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to VFW Post 5906.

CAVE CITY — Charles “Buddy” Logsdon, 75, Cave City, died Monday, March 3, 2010, at his home.
His wife, Jerry survives.

CUB RUN — Louise Moblo, 83, of Cub Run, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Wiley and Bertha Meredith Wiley. Survivors include her husband, Walter Moblo.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, with interment at Cub Run Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10.
Mary Frances Wolfe
NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Mary Frances Wolfe, 91, of Clarksville, Ind., died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Ind.
She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of the late Lacy Hurt and Lizzie Huddleston and wife of the late Owen B. Wolfe.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, Ind., with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.

Visitation at the funeral home is 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday and after 8 a.m. until funeral time on Friday.

Funeral services will be today (Tuesday) at 1:30 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, Summer Shade, with burial in Summer Shade Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Summer Shade Volunteer Fire Department.
