GLASGOW — Betty Collins
TOMPKINSVILLE — Betty Collins, 56, of Tompkinsville, died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at her home.
The Monroe County native was born Sept. 4, 1953, the daughter of the late Clifton Estus Goad and Ann Dean Pennington Goad. She was a retired mail carrier and a member of Mud Lick Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Collins, whom she married on June 16, 1972, at the Nazarene Church in Glasgow. She is also survived by two sons, Patrick Collins and Chris Collins, both of Tompkinsville; and eight grandchildren.
A firefighter funeral service will be Thursday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with Brother Danny Sexton and Brother Gary Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Beautiful Home Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mud Lick Fire Department.

BOWLING GREEN — Stella Gillenwater, 85, of Bowling Green, and a native of Barren County, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Britthaven of Bowling Green.
Arrangements are being handled by Burnam & Son Mortuary, Inc., 201 Center Street, Bowling Green.
Shirley Ann Renfro Harper
GLASGOW — Shirley Ann Renfro Harper, 71, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Renfro and Grace Beckham Renfro. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter: Darlene Eudy and husband, Albert, of Cave City; one son: Joey Fisher of Glasgow; six grandchildren: Scotty Eudy, Jason Fisher, Chad Fisher, Luke Fisher, Christina Vanmeter and Felicia Fisher; seven great-grandchildren; and her aunt: Louise Payne.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Joseph Harper; her son: Mark Fisher; and her sister, Donna Kay Stevens.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, alternate expressions may take the form of donations to Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Nathaniel Lee Wheeler
MUNFORDVILLE — Nathaniel Lee Wheeler, 31, of Munfordville, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
He is the son of Beth Ledeama, of Findlay, Ohio, and the late Vernon Wheeler. Other survivors include his stepmother, Mary Wheeler of Munfordville.
Visitation will be private and there will be no service.
