Annie Lucille Veach

TOMPKINSVILLE — Annie Lucille Veach, 98, of Fountain Run, Ky., died Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Barren County Healthcare Center in Glasgow, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arkie Goodall Gentry and Lela Clark Curtis, and her husband, Herbert Hayden Veach.

Funeral services were incomplete but are under the direction of Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.



Mary Elizabeth McCaulley

LOUISVILLE — Mary Elizabeth McCaulley, 91 died Friday, September 18, 2009.

She is survived by her husband, Warren H. McCaulley; children, David (Edith) and Mark (Debbie) McCaulley and Maryanne McKinney (David); 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and brothers, Dr. Everett Neil Rush, Jr. and William M. Rush.

Her funeral is 10am Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8pm Monday.

GLASGOW — Lois Gunell Houchens Green, 88, died Thursday Sept. 17, 2009, at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Sunday) at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Old Zion Cemetery.



TOMPKINSVILLE — Edmond Parsley, 83, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.



PARK CITY — Mildred Sturgeon, 89, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today (Sunday) at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with burial in New Hope Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
