Kathleen Turner Billingsley
FOUNTAIN RUN — Kathleen Turner Billingsley, 71, passed away Saturday, morning, Sept. 19, 2009, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
The Monroe County native was the daughter of the late Riley and Dorothy Mae (Pitcock) Turner. She married the late Thaddus Marvin Billingsley on Dec. 25, 1956, who preceded her in death on July 7, 2008; her brother, R.B. Turner, also preceded her in death.
She was a retired employee of K-Mart in Glasgow, with 25 years of service, and a member of Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church.
Her survivors include sons and daughters-in-law: Terry and Tonya Billingsley, Jimmy and Kathryn Billingsley, all of Fountain Run, Timothy and Angela Billingsley of Scottsville: sisters: Peggy Carver, Mary Bockover of Fountain Run and Freda Crowe of Gamaliel, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation is today (Monday) until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church until service time.
Hughes Funeral Chapel, Fountain Run, is in charge of arrangements.
Norman Neal Davidson
PARK CITY — Norman Neal Davidson, 82, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
Arrangements are being handled by Burnam & Son Mortuary,Inc., 201 Center Street, Bowling Green.
Ray Moore
LUCAS — Ray Moore, 74, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at his home.
Born in Huntsville, Ala., he was the son of the late David Carl Moore and the late Lydia Pearl Renegar. Mr. Moore is a retired assembly worker for the General Motors Company and a member of UAW Local No. 2164. He was a veteran of the Korean war, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church in Rockfield and attended Abounding Grace Church in Scottsville.
Survivors include his wife, Delois Taylor Moore of Lucas; one son: Kennith Ray Moore and wife Bonnie of Bowling Green; two sisters: Doris Bailey of Rome, Ga., and Mary Martin and husband Marvin of Trumann, Ark.; one brother: David Moore and wife Judy of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; two grandchildren: Emilee and Allison Moore of Bowling Green.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Annie Lucille Veach
FOUNTAIN RUN — Annie Lucille Veach, 98, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Barren County Healthcare Center in Glasgow.
She was born in Monroe County on May 21, 1911, to the late Arkie Goodall Gentry and Lela Clark Curtis Gentry. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fountain Run Old Baptist Church. She was the widow of Herbert Hayden Veach.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Linda Veach of Bowling Green; four daughters and three sons-sin-law: Louise and Eldon Veach of Fountain Run, Elizabeth “Libby” and Delmas Proffitt and Sue and Mack Ed Emberton, both of Glasgow, and Kaye Taylor of Tompkinsville; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Veach; a brother, Curtis Gentry; and a sister, Edna Gentry.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. today.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Fountain Run Old Baptist Church.

LOUISVILLE — Mary Elizabeth McCaulley, 91 died Friday, Sept. 18, 2009. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visitation is 2 until 8 p.m. today (Monday).
