BURKESVILLE — Mary Ann Keen, 88, died Tuesday, April 22, 2009, at her home.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and friends.
No funeral services are planned. Visitation will be today (Thursday) from 4 until 9 p.m. and Friday, April 24, from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to any Cumberland County school or school program.
Justin Garrett Wilkerson
GLASGOW — Justin Garrett Wilkerson, 22, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Fort Knox.
He was born in Glasgow, the son of Freddie Joe Wilkerson and Kim Garrett Lambert. Justin was a 2004 graduate of Barren County High School and attended the Peters Creek Baptist Church. Sgt. Justin Wilkerson was a member of the Kentucky Army National Guard’s 176th Engineer Fire Fighting Team in Greenville. He served in Afghanistan with the 201st Engineer Battalion from Ashland in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His awards include the Combat Action Badge, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” Device, Army Good Conduct Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Freddie Joe and Joyneta Wilkerson of Glasgow; his mother and step-father, Kim and Owen Lambert of Glasgow; his fiancée, Phelicia Espersen of Glasgow; two sons: Terry Aiden Adwell of Smiths Grove and Landon Bryce Wilkerson of Glasgow; sisters: Kaci Johnson of Glasgow and Leslie Cherry (Tyler) of Bowling Green; a brother: Will Lambert (Amber) of White House, Tenn.; paternal grandparents: Freddie and Carol Wilkerson of Glasgow; maternal grandparents: Jimmy Garrett and Connie Garrett (Ivan), all of Glasgow; maternal great-grandparents: Virginia Wilburn and James Garrett (Opal), all of Glasgow; and step-grandparents: Jerry and Laverne Brooks of Munfordville.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2009, at Glasgow Baptist Church with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by HHSB 1st BN 623rd FA KY National Guard. Visitation will be at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home beginning at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday) and continuing all day Thursday until 9 p.m. Visitation will be on Friday at Glasgow Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until time for the service.

Sarah Lou Wilson
GLASGOW — Sarah Lou Wilson, 68, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at her home.
Born in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Herschel and Louise Gentry Church. She was a ward clerk at T.J. Samson Community Hospital and was a drummer in musical groups with her husband, including the Curtis Wilson Trio. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Glasgow Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis; a son: Ricky Wilson (Tracy) of Smiths Grove; a daughter: Missy Staples (Steve) of Glasgow; two grandchildren: Sarah Wilson and Taylor Staples; two brothers: Lewis and Teddy Church of Horse Cave; and a sister: Rebecca Church of Glasgow. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Church; and a sister, Gloria Hensley.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday.
