Sid Ray Conatser
GLASGOW — Sid Ray Conatser, 67, died Wednesday April 29, 2009, at his home after an illness.
He was born in Cumberland County, the son of the late Washington Lancaster Conatser and Lillie Maude Anderson Conatser. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Inus Jewell Wells Conatser; a daughter, Karen Denise Holmes (Todd), and a son, Bobby Ray Conatser (Sharon), all of Glasgow; two grandchildren: Trenton Ray Conatser and Emily Ann Conatser; a step-grandson: Brandon Logsdon; one brother: James Barlow Conatser of Glasgow; six sisters: Winfred Beatrice Reed, Jessie Mae Marshall, Edna Aleen Hurt, Lee Ann Gillentine and Betty Jean Porter, all of Glasgow, and Bonnie Louise Gordon of Summer Shade; and serveral nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Melvin L.D. Flannery
SMITHS GROVE — Melvin L.D. Flannery, 41, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
He was the son of Elmer Lee Flannery of Evansville, Ind., and Lillian Elane Gregory Reed of Smiths Grove, who survive.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel, with burial in Rocky Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Susie Garrett
CENTER — Susie Garrett, 60, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green.
She was the daughter of the late Jim and Lizzie Garmon Ennis. She was a homemaker and member of the House of Prayer Church at Edmonton.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Ennis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by husband, Wilbert Garrett. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Raymond, Edward and Frankie Ed Ennis, Nannie Ellen Brown and Ruby Belle Wilson.

LOUISVILLE — Nancy Ann Bishop, 69, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in Servant Valley Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 4 p.m. today (Thursday).
CYNTHIANA — Elizabeth Thornton Harbeson Lane, 94, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. Memorial services will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Visitation will be 5 p.m. Friday until time of service. EDMONTON — Carol Glynn Perkins, 70, died Monday, April 27, 2009, at her home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at Pleasant Hill Church of Christ at Randolph with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
