Maurae Foster

GLASGOW — Maurae Foster, 86, died Sunday, May 17, 20099, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

Arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.



Waneeta Hunt

FOUNTAIN RUN — Waneeta Hunt, 88, of Fountain Run, died Sunday, May 17, 2009, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

She was born on Feb. 1, 1921, the daughter of the late Roy Wheat and Mae Waller Wheat. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Sewell Hunt, whom she married on Feb. 19, 1945; two sons, Freddy Hunt and his wife Sandra of Park City, and Frankie Hunt and his wife Linda of Fountain Run; a granddaughter, Amanda Copass and her husband Aaron.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Darrell Shawn Hunt.

Funeral services will be at the Hughes Funeral Home in Fountain Run on Wednesday, May 20, at 1 p.m. with Brother Wendell Froedge officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Run Cemetery. Visitation at the Hughes Funeral Home will begin after 6 p.m. Monday evening.

Pallbearers will be Jeff and Will Downing, Jimmie D. Jordon, Kirk Howard, Todd Calvert and Bobby Wayne Morrison.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fountain Run Cemetery or the Fountain Run Fire Department.



JT Light

GLASGOW — JT Light, 79, died Sunday May 17, 2009, at Caverna Memorial Hospital.

Born in Metcafle County, he was the son of the late Alfred Light and the late Bessie Scott Light. Mr. Light was a retired salesman for Kenneth O. Lester Foods and a member of Allen Masonic Lodge No. 24. He was a member of Grider Memorial Baptist Church and was well known for his love of singing gospel music.

Survivors include his son: Keith Light (Carol) of Lamb; sister: Ruby Nell Fancher Smith of Lexington; sister-in-law: Jeanette Light of Louisville; and a niece: Sandra Wilson of Lexington.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Bell Light; and a brother, CL Light.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a contribution be made in memory of JT Light to your favorite charity.

GLASGOW — William Tommy Runyon, 63, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow.

MUNFORDVILLE — Hazel Nadine Druen, 85, of Bowling Green, formerly of Munfordville, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Britthaven Nursing Home in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home, Munfordville, with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be today from 2 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and after 8 a.m. Tuesday until time for services at the funeral home.
