Robert Logan Deweese Taylor
EDMONTON — Robert Logan Deweese Taylor, 14, died Monday, May 25, 2009, at Kosair Childrens Hospital in Louisville.
He was a freshman at Metcalfe County High School.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his mother, Melinda (Tim) Brewster of Edmonton; his father, Chris Taylor of Glasgow; two sisters: Kim Brewster and Danielle Brewster, both of Glasgow; one brother: Jessie Taylor of Edmonton; grandparents, Robert and Janette Deweese of Edmonton, David and Judy Taylor of Glasgow, and Roy and Pauline Brewster of Edmonton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pearl Estes
EDMONTON — Pearl Estes, 69, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Sky Rehab Hospital in Bowling Green.
She was the daughter of the late Carl and Bertha Walbert Brown. She was a former employee of Topps Manufacturing in Edmonton and a member of the Edmonton Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in White Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Twyman Estes whom she wed Dec. 13, 1938; one son: Morris (Valarie) Estes of Edmonton; a daughter: Anita Estes of Edmonton; one granddaughter: Sarah Estes (Jonathan) Bragg of Watertown, N.Y.; one brother: Stanley (Sue) Brown of Edmonton; three sisters: Mary (Wilbert) Nance, Martha (Richie) Gilpin and Florence Moore, all of Edmonton; one sister-in-law: Linda Faye Brown, also of Edmonton; special friends: Don and Rae Gilpin and family. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Neal Brown; a brother-in law Bill Moore and three nephews.

Beulah M. Anderson Turner
BOWLING GREEN — Beulah M. Anderson, 74, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at her residence.
The daughter of the late Howard Paul Anderson and Effie Emily DeFevers Anderson, she was born March 26, 1935, in Glasgow. She was a retired registrar with the Barren River District Health Department. Beulah was full of life and loved to make people laugh and she enjoyed traveling. She loved her family. She was a graduate of Glasgow High School Class of 1953.
Survivors include a daughter: Tina Jill Turner of Bowling Green; a son: Jeff Turner and wife, Rose, of Bowling Green; one brother: John Alfred Anderson and wife, Ruth, of Glasgow; two grandchildren: Justin Steven Turner and Emily Michelle Turner; and two nephews: James Howard Jennings and John Michael Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Steven Turner; a sister, Grace Jennings; and a brother, Joe Paul Anderson.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels Inc., Broadway Chapel, Bowling Green. Burial will be private at a later date. Beulah requested to be cremated. Friends may call on the family after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
