Betty Jean Coffey

EDMONTON — Betty Jean Coffey, 54, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Covie and Lizzie Fields Young.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Coffey, of Edmonton.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Tuesday) from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.



Virginia Lee Jolly

CAVE CITY — Virginia Lee Jolly, 78, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, at the Hart County Health Care Center.

She was a native of Knoxville, Tenn., a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Church.

She is survived by three sons: Steve Jolly and his wife, Reva, of Cave City, Ernest Willis Jolly Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Horse Cave, and Robert Paul Jolly of Cave City; grandchildren: Joey Jolly, Chad Jolly and his wife, Julie, Amy Jolly and Tiffany Jolly; step-grandchildren: Amanda Laird and her husband, John D., Stacy Abston and her husband, Brian; great-grandchildren: Hannah Grace Jolly and Olivia Cadence Jolly, all of Cave City.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Joiner; and her husband, Ernest Willis Jolly Sr.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today (Tuesday) and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

SMITHS GROVE — Darrell Johnson, 53, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at his residence. Funeral services will be today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Howell Cemetery.



HORSE CAVE — George T. Johnson, 78, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, at his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.



GLASGOW — Ruby May Pace, 97, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the Barren County Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Lick Branch Cemetery.
