Charles Joseph Baldwin

GLASGOW — Charles Joseph Baldwin, 78, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at his residence.

A native of Indiana, he was a son of the late William and Ruby Baldwin and was a retired insurance salesman and minister. He was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Clara; three sons: Timmy Earl Bryant of Glasgow, Danny Joe Baldwin and Mike Baldwin both of Indiana; one daughter: Vickie Jean Vanvlymen of Indiana; two sisters: Shirley May Williams of Texas and Grace “Dee” Carnahan of Indiana; several grandchildren, nieces and nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Chuckie Baldwin. and five brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Horse Cave with burial in the Lighthouse Church Community Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

Kevin J. Davis

SMITHS GROVE — Kevin J. Davis, 43, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

He was the son of the late Lonnie L. Davis and Margaret Duff Davis. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Huntsman Davis, of Smiths Grove.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 until 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.



Anna Mae Hamilton

TOMPKINSVILLE — Anna Mae Hamilton, 73, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at Monroe County Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew Shirley and Nellie Sims Shirley.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with burial in Mount Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the funeral home.



Thelma Gene Hendricks

BOWLING GREEN — Thelma Gene Hendricks, 79, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at a Bowling Green nursing home.

She was the daughter of the late Frank Arnold and Gladys Gipson Arnold Lambert and wife of the late Woodrow Hendricks.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Hardy & Son Funeral Homes, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.



Harold T. Henry

DALLAS, Texas — Harold T. Henry, 78, died Tuesday, Jan. 19. 2010, in Dallas.

Mr. Henry was the son of the late Rainey and Hester Tollett Henry.

Survivors include his wife, Jane; one son: Joey Henry of Dallas; and one brother: Dewey Henry, of Glasgow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Dallas. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home submitted obit information.



Sharon Reece Jones

MELL RIDGE — Sharon Reece Jones, 53, of the Mell Ridge Community of Metcalfe County, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Orville and Alma Bowles Reece. Sharon was a member of the Green Meadows Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Jones; one daughter, Angie (Todd) Smith of Knob Lick; two grandchildren: Allyson and Ashley Smith; two brothers: Raymond and Darrell (Cathy) Reece, all of Knob Lick; her mother-in-law: Geraldine Jones of Edmonton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son James Laron Jones.

Ronald Lee Wolfe

HOUSTON, Texas — Ronald Lee Wolfe, 64, (formerly of Glasgow) died Jan. 13, 2010, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Ron was born Aug. 28, 1945, in Brazil, Ind. He began his career with RR Donnelley and Sons in Crawfordsville as an apprentice and also worked at the Glasgow plant for a number of years. He retired 35 years later as senior vice president of Donnelley Barbados division.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Connie Mitchell Wolfe; brother, Gary Wolfe; daughters: Michelle Wolfe and Cheri Wolfe-Koberstein; son-in law: Richard Koberstein Jr.; granddaughters: Hannah and Chloe Wolfe, Madelyn and Savannah Koberstein; nephews: Doug and Jon Beder, Mike Zike and Keith Mitchell.

Services will be at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, in Clay City, Ind., on Thursday at 11 a.m. with burial at Clayton Cemetery in Linton, Ind. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 941 E. 86th St. Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46240-1842.

TOMPKINSVILLE – Randall M. Grider, 90, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. Funeral services will be today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Tompkinsville Church of Christ, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Military rites will be performed by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Strode Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN.



KNOB LICK – Betty S. Miller, 72, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at the University of Louisville Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lighthouse Church in Horse Cave with burial in Asbury Cemetery at Center. Visitation is in progress at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
