GLASGOW — BONNIEVILLE — Rosetta Embry, 77, of Bonnieville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at her residence in Bonnieville.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She was the daughter of the late Thurman Frye and the late Christine Frye. She was the wife of the late Claudie Dee Embry.

She is survived by one son, Terry Embry (Yolanda “Lannie”), of Bonnieville; one sister, Patricia Jordan, of Louisville; one brother, Melton Frye (JoAnn), of Oklahoma; several step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Evette Embry; grandson, William Sallee, and a brother, Wayne Frye.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at the funeral home with Brother Earl Lee Day officiating. Interment will be at Gaddie Cemetery, Bonnieville.

AUSTIN — Rita Gail Zulz, 59, of Austin, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.

Born in Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Compton Hale. She was a former food service employee at Walmart.

Survivors include her husband, Ken; one daughter, Alison Estes and husband Jimmy, of Austin; one son, Jeremy Zulz and wife Sarah, of Pensacola, Fla., and two grandchildren, Dacota and Natane Estes.

Visitation will be at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until noon. A private service will be held for the immediate family followed by cremation.

CAVE CITY — Carroll Singer Haines, 88, Cave City, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mr. Haines chose cremation. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation, in honor of Julie Lochary, 6601 Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21228 or to Carroll County 4-H, 700 Agriculture Center Drive, Westminster, MD 21157.



CAVE CITY — Ms. Nadine Laird, 67, Cave City, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.



GLASGOW — L. Dale Mathews, 47, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the family to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
