GLASGOW — Buena Bryant

TOMPKINSVILLE — Buena Mae Turner Bryant, 76, of Tompkinsville, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Monroe County Medical Center.

Buena was born in the Ebenezer Community on May 24, 1936, a daughter of the late Hester (Jackson) and Rad Evans Turner.

On May 3, 1951, in Tompkinsville, she married Tim Kyle Bryant, who survives her.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Clover Hill Church of Christ with Kirk Wall officiating. Visitation is in progress at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.



Avis Kinser

GLASGOW — Avis Creo Kinser, 73, of Glasgow, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton.

She was the daughter of the late Holland Heston Rowe and Mary Zora Harvey Rowe. She was a retired cook at Bel-Aire Restaurant in Edmonton.   

She is survived by her husband, Mitchell Kinser, of Glasgow; three children, Ann Terri Wilson and husband Richard, of Glasgow, Michael Todd Radford and wife Kim, of Tennessee, and Lori Lee Barton Beasley and friend Adam Locke, of Glasgow. She is also survived by a cousin, Dean Rowe, of Edmonton; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Randolph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.



Mary Stuart Ross

HORSE CAVE — Mary Stuart Ross, 93, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 26, 2013, at home in Horse Cave.

A native of Hart County, she was the daughter of Walker C. Stuart and Elizabeth Katherine Martin Stuart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Ross.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army and your local animal shelter.

HILLVIEW – Reverend Robert B. Gosser, 79, of Hillview, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Road) with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.

TOMPKINSVILLE  – Ralph Junior Grider, 70, of Tompkinsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cyclone Church of Christ with burial to follow at Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be at McMurtrey Funeral Home on Saturday morning until 10:30 a.m. and after 11 a.m. at the church until funeral time. Donations are suggested to Bailey Cemetery. These may be sent to the funeral home at 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, Ky. 42166.



HORSE CAVE – Juanita Garrett Waters, 79, of Horse Cave, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Hart County Health Care in Horse Cave. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Cedar Cliff Baptist Church.
