GLASGOW —
William C. ‘Butch’ Dearing
MERRY OAKS – William C. “Butch” Dearing, 64, of Merry Oaks in Barren County, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
He was the son of the late Clifton and Olene Mosby Dearing. He was a self-employed electrician and was a retired from the Barren County School System after 21 years as a bus driver. Mr. Dearing was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy; two sons, Dewayne Dearing (Laurie), of Rocky Hill, and Kris Dearing, of Glasgow; a daughter, Jenny Dearing, of Glasgow; two sisters, Patsy Ann Jones (Earl) of Stafford, Va., and Faith Piper (Donald), of Scottsville; a brother, Mark Dearing (Sandra), of Smiths Grove; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Allyson Danielle Dearing.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Joshua Keith Hale
GAMALIEL – Joshua Keith Hale, of Gamaliel, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, from a car accident, on Alexander School Road in Gamaliel.
He was the son of Terry Hale, of Tompkinsville, and Tina Keith Gerald, of Gamaliel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 9, after 10 a.m. at Strode Funeral Home, Gamaliel Chapel.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial in Neal Cemetery in Monroe County.
Memorials are suggested to Shawn Mason Hale Trust Fund or Neal Cemetery.
Daniel Ray McKinney
HARDYVILLE – Daniel Ray McKinney 42, of Hardyville, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at University Hospital of Louisville.
Funeral services for Daniel Ray McKinney were 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home, with Brother Ronald Riordan officiating. Burial was in Houk Cemetery.
Stanley T. Percell
TOMPKINSVILLE – Stanley T. Percell, 60, of Tompkinsville, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, in Tompkinsville.
Stanley was born in Blanchardville, Wis., on April 24, 1952, a son of the late Marion Richard and Loantafay Martha (Folk) Percell.
Stanley worked as a construction worker for Madison Silo. He also served in the U.S. Marines.
He is survived by a son, Adam Ward; two daughters, Taumara Jo McDonald and Scotia Marie Mockobee, all of Huntington, Ind. Also surviving is a sister, Catherine Jo Percell, of Blanchardville, Wis.
The family has chosen cremation. Arrangements are under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville.

Wilma Oller Sadler
BOWLING GREEN – Wilma Oller Sadler, 96, of Bowling Green, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
She was the daughter of the late Emmett Oller and Ella Albro Oller. She was the wife of the late Harry Emmett McMullin and E.G. Sadler.
Funeral services will be noon, Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Christ Episcopal Church, 1215 State Street, Bowling Green, with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Leitchfield.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday at the church. Hardy and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Vanglean Sexton
EDMONTON – Vanglean Sexton, 82, of Edmonton, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton.
She was the daughter of the late Cephus and Ivera Hagan Garmon. She was retired from Topps Manufacturing and a member of Society Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Sexton, of Cave City; two sisters, Vada Sexton, of Hiseville, and Alyne Froedge, of Edmonton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Sexton, and one sister, Vanetta Brown.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
