Joseph Clark Nevins

ANTIOCH, Tenn. — Joseph Clark Nevins, 61, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Odyssey Hospice in Nashville.

He was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Nevins. Survivors include his wife, Jane Grider Nevins of Antioch.

Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Odyssey Hospice.



Katherine Louise Terry

GLASGOW — Katherine Louise Terry, 64, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at the Bowling Green Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Wiley V. Harvey and Eva Loraine Arterburn Gentry.

She is survived by one son: Phillip E. Brown; two grandchildren: Leslie Brown and Brittany Brown; two brothers: Garnett Harvey and Donald Harvey; one sister: Lois Borders; one half-sister: Christine Spillman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in by her husband: Carl Terry; two sons: Donald Ray Brown and Jerry Rodney Brown; and one brother: Raymond Harvey.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Buckley Cemetery. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

GLASGOW – Rebecca Sue Barbour, 69, of Glasgow, died Saturday night Aug. 22, 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today (Tuesday).



GLASGOW — W. Floyd Chapman, 74, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Brotherhood Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund.



HORSE CAVE — Cleo Davidson King, 86, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.



NEW JERSEY — Dr. Carl C. Rexroat, former resident of Horse Cave, passed away Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. He was a native of Russell Springs. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave, with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with military rites conducted by the Marion County D.A.V. Masonic Rites will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, and after 8 a.m. Friday.
