Mary Joann Hamilton
GLASGOW – Mary Joann Hamilton, 74, of Glasgow, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
She was the daughter of the late Roy and Leo Vance Hamilton.
She is survived by two brothers, Jim (Vivian) Hamilton, of Glasgow, and Wayne Hamilton, of Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, with one niece, Susan (Tim) Elmore, of Glasgow, who was caring for her.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Hamilton Cemetery, on Ky. 80, near Edmonton.

Tina Helton
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Tina Faye Gibson Helton, 49, passed away May 21, 2012.
She was born March 6, 1963, in Edmonton.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Brandon and daughter, Chelsea; one grandson, Khalib Scott, all of Indianapolis; her mother, Ola Mae Scott Gibson Robertson, of Cave City; one sister, Jennifer Knight, of Cave City; one brother, Timothy R. Gibson, of Indianapolis; one nephew, Todd Gibson, of Cave City; two nieces, Samantha J. Knight and Randi Lynn Knight, also of Indianapolis, Ind.; many aunts and uncles, including Danny and Libby Bowles, of Hiseville, Kenneth and Layla Scott, of Campbellsville, Roy Joe and Becky Gibson, of Glasgow, Patsy and Nile Smith, of Dubre, Joyce Gibson, of Canmer, Ellie May Johnson, of Scottsville, Carolyn Walton, of Elizabethtown; and many cousins, great-nieces and a great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Porter and Maude Gibson, of Edmonton, Delmar Scott and Ruby Jeffries; her father, Howard Raymond Gibson, of Knob Lick; one brother, Scottie Yates Gibson, of Hiseville; several aunts and uncles, including Steve Lee Scott, of Hiseville, James Walton, of Elizabethtown, Robert E. and Rose Gibson, of Indianapolis, Ernest J. Gibson, of Canmer, Virginia P. Robertson, of Jefferson, Ind., and first cousins, Dan Stacy Bowles, of Hiseville and Brian K. Allen, of Indianapolis.
Tina was a very loving and devoted wife and mother. Her smile would make anyone want to smile back at her. She was very much loved by everyone who knew her. This is not a goodbye; this is until we meet again. She will always be in our hearts. My beautiful sister.
Final resting place is The Garden at Olive Branch in Greenwood, Ind.
Nancy Colvin Monroe
CAVE CITY – Nancy Colvin Monroe, 75, of Cave City, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.
She was the daughter of the late Curtis and Icy Colvin. On March 1, 1959, she married Bobby Monroe, who preceded her in death in 2009.
Survivors include a nephew, Sammy (Vickie) Monroe, of Cave City; two great-nieces, Dana Monroe and Sammye Jo (Dustin) Singer, one great-great-nephew, Matthew Steven Singer, all of Cave City; a brother, Larry (Janelle) Colvin, of Bunker Hill, Ind.; two brothers-in-law, Larry (Patricia) Monroe, William (Joann) Monroe; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Monroe and Joyce Monroe. Other survivors include nieces, Sandy (John) Brown, Sandy (Mark) Rogers, Alicia Bloom, Marylinda (Ronnie) Thomison, Christine Wilkins, Jennifer (Dan) Kinsner, Vinetta (Stu) Daniell; nephews, Fred (Cindy) McGuire, Mike (Nancy) McGuire, Lee (Amanda) Monroe, Scott Monroe, William Wilkins, Steve (Betsy) Monroe, Jimmy (Tina) Monroe and Coy Monroe, along with several other great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence McGuire and Ida Bell Cook; four brothers, Kenny, Beanie, Chester and Jim McGuire and one great-nephew, Matt Monroe.
Graveside services for Nancy Monroe will be Sunday, June 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, will be from 1 until 8 p.m. Saturday, June 16, and 9 a.m. until time of services on Sunday.

Maciva Rose
GLASGOW – Maciva Rose, 75, of Glasgow, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
A native of Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late George Haskel and Ethel Nettie Harden Rose. She was a retired printing press operator and loved fishing and carving.
Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Dian Bradbury, of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Raychel Brandt, of Minnesota, Kahlee Curry, Marissa Curry, and Mikayla Martin, all of Illinois; one brother, John Robert Rose, of Kentucky; three sisters, Lois Evans and Irma Peters, of Kentucky, and Priscilla Rice, of Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Rose; three sisters, Barbara Jean Rose, Georgia Mae Rose, and Clyde McGee.
The family chose cremation. Private services will be conducted at a later date.

Theresa Schlemmer
KELTNER-MELL RIDGE – Theresa Schlemmer, 76, of the Keltner-Mell Ridge community of Adair County, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012.
She was born in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Anton and Alma April Schlemmer. Theresa was a retired bookkeeper and teacher.
She is survived by her friend and caregiver, Laura Allen, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Christ the Healer Catholic Church, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the church.

SHELBYVILLE – Bobby D. Eaton, 82, of Shelbyville, formerly of Louisville, died June 13, 2012, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. A celebration of his life will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in Brackett Cemetery.
