Jesse Curd
LOUISVILLE — Jesse Curd, 80, a native of Glasgow, passed away Sept. 28, 2009.
An Air Force veteran, he was a barber, truck driver, a member of St. Thomas Lodge No. 2 of the P.H.A. Masons and a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Curd; children, Pierre and Carlos Curd, Sonja Davis (Charles), Zoe Whitfield (Jarvis), Montilla and Patrick Seewright; sister, Elnora Harriford; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at his church, 1425 Bland St., Louisville, with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements by G.C. Williams Funeral Home, Louisville.
William A. Siler
GLASGOW — William A. Siler passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Fort Wayne, Ind., on May 25, 1944, the son of the late Flossie and Lloyd Siler.
He is survived by his loving companion of many years, Mary J. Mosby of Glasgow; a son: Marc Siler (Annette), a daughter: Kara Siler, two grandchildren, Vincent and Angel Siler, all of Shakopee, Minn.; three grandchildren: Lynda, Lauren and Tyler Mosby of Glasgow; and a brother: Melvin (Margaret) Siler of Eden Prairie, Minn.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

PORT ANGELES, Wash. — Eva Simmons DeMunbrun died Aug. 6, 2009, at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Wash., at the age of 91. Services will be at Mammoth Cave Hotel on Saturday at 2 p.m. The family asks that memorials be made to a local Hospice of your choice. CAVE CITY — Doris Virginia (Conrad) Lopp, 78, formerly of New Albany, Ind., died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Visitation will be from 1 until 8 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville (1119 E. Market St., New Albany, Ind.)
