Dortha Miller Elrod
BOWLING GREEN — Dortha Miller Elrod, 80, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at Colonial Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of the late William T. Miller and Lorene Dial Miller and wife of the late Harry Elrod.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Homes Inc., Bowling Green Chapel.
William ‘Bill’ Gore
GLASGOW — William Henry “Bill” Gore, 96, of Glasgow, KY, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late William Henry Gore, Sr. and Elsie Gore. He was a founding member of the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by one son Larry Gene Gore and his wife Linda of Lexington, North Carolina; ten Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren, Several Great-Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great-Great-Granddaughter.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Francis Hunley Gore; three sons: William Earl Gore, Kenneth Edward Gore and Tommy Darrell Gore.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Randolph, KY. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

GLASGOW — Barbara Jane Kingrey 65 of Glasgow, died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time but are under the direction of the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
The Rev. Wendell Morgan
CAVE CITY — The Rev. Wendell Morgan, 70, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at his residence.
A son of the late Marshall and Hester Jessie Morgan, he was a Baptist minister and farmer. He was a member of the Fairview United Baptist Church and had served as pastor at a number of area churches. He was presently serving as pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Gradyville Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Morgan; one daughter, Jessica Lohden (Wayne) of Glasgow; two sons: Tim Morgan and Tony Morgan (Ellen), all of Glasgow; seven grandchildren: Wendy Underwood (Kenny), Monica Morgan, Maggie Houchens (Mike), Morgan Lohden (Ashley), Wendell Lohden, Travis Morgan and Jess Morgan; one step-granddaughter: Karissa Miller; one adopted grandson: Timmy Oliver; seven great-grandchildren: Audrey Houchens, Ellyot Lohden, Mason Underwood, Chloe Underwood, Tatum Underwood, Waylon Underwood and Kensey Lohden; two brothers: Wayne Morgan and Marshall Morgan Jr., both of Indiana; one sister: Virginia Wilson of Bowling Green; one great-uncle: James Jessie of Indianapolis; one great-aunt: Lillie Rae Ball of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie Sheree Morgan.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, Glasgow, with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after until time of services at the funeral home.

Elaine Sturgeon
MUNFORDVILLE — Elaine Sturgeon, 82, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur Sturgeon and the late Emma Crain Sturgeon and wife of the late Howard O. Sturgeon.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, with burial in Cub Run Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 to 2 p.m. today (Sunday) at the funeral home.
